The terms for using Unmade AI, a free browser-based tool that removes removable metadata from images and videos.

Acceptance of terms

By using Unmade AI (UnmadeAI.app), operated by Some Digital Guys, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of service

Unmade AI is a free, browser-based tool that removes removable metadata (such as C2PA Content Credentials, EXIF, XMP, and MP4/MOV container tags) from PNG, JPEG, WebP images and MP4/MOV videos. Processing happens entirely on your device; no file is uploaded to our servers.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the files you process and how you use them. By using this service, you agree that:

  • You have the right to modify and share any file you process with the tool.
  • You will comply with the terms and policies of any platform you post cleaned media to.
  • You will not use this tool to misrepresent AI-generated or edited content as authentic in a way that violates applicable law, platform disclosure rules, or is intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate others (for example, in journalism, elections, or financial contexts).
  • You will not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty

Unmade AI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that all metadata will be removed in every case, that a platform will classify cleaned media differently, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We do not strip visible watermarks, baked-in frame marks, or guarantee how a platform classifies media. Use it only on content you may modify and share.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Some Digital Guys and Unmade AI are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Your content stays yours

You retain all rights to the files you process. Because files are handled entirely in your browser, we never receive, store, or claim any ownership over your content.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
